Top 10 Reasons [NOT] to Join BBT Fitness

Well, it's about time someone had the guts to admit that they're not the perfect match for everyone! At BBT Fitness, we pride ourselves on being upfront and honest about our limitations. So, here are a few reasons why we may not be the best fit for you:

You are worrying too much about chasing calories.

Every day you tell yourself that to feel truly productive you need to burn 600 calories. Instead of taking time to build both strength and muscle, you are focusing too much on moving fast through every movement.

You tell yourself no pain = no gain.

To ensure that you trained hard you think that unbearable soreness the next day is the way to go.

You want a program that focuses solely on Olympic weightlifting.

At BBT Fitness we like Olympic lifts, we just don't love them. Here we like to focus primarily on movements such as squats, deadlifts, presses, and rows. Now if you're looking for a facility to go all-in on movements such as snatches, cleans, and jerks, I'm sorry we're just not the facility for you.

You rather train all alone.

BBT is a community where all members motivate and push each other to the next level. While the majority of our training is individualized for goals we prefer that all members steer away from using headphones and coming to open gyms that can take away from the BBT experience.

You believe that going light is only for the weak.

Strength training is a huge part of our overall weekly stimulus to get members the results that they are looking for, but that doesn't mean you have to go heavy every training session. We believe that you should do enough to get yourself strong and not get hurt.

You don't believe in starting small.

Starting small is never a waste of time. Every movement you do has a progression that is designed to ease you into training gradually for you to achieve effective long-term results.

You don't believe training should be fun.

If you're looking for a facility that doesn't play deep mass and loud music then again we are not the facility for you. Every day that you walk into the BBT training facility it will feel like you're stepping into a nightclub.

You're looking for giant classes.

Although our training sessions can have 30+ members and one single session, we do not believe in being in a cramped room and having a coach who barely knows you exist.

You are afraid of growing muscles.

You may be a cardio junkie who believes that weight will only make you bulky or that strength training will get in the way of you getting the results that you're looking for.

You dislike accountability.

You will register and book all of your training sessions. You will have a coach who knows your name. You will be pushed within your limits and have a coach who makes an effort to interact with you on a personal level.
