During our BBT Success Consultations, our success staff are often asked questions from our prospects around other coaching programs and gyms they may be coming from! Spoiler Alert: No. We are not. At BBT Fitness, we take a different approach. We invest significant resources in providing the opposite. Our sessions are designed to give you structured training. Everyone in the session is following the same workout, but our unique layout allows for unparalleled individualization and coaching attention.

We are pushing your physical capabilities and limitations, rather than solely focusing on calorie burning.

Them: Workouts that "claim" to burn 900+ calories by stripping muscle.

Ha! You won't catch us bragging about how many calories we can make you burn during a workout. Why? Because that's a one-way ticket to a scrawny, flabby body. I mean, sure, you could hop on a treadmill for an hour and torch a thousand calories, but who wants to do that for six months straight? You'd end up with less muscle, a slower metabolism, and more body fat than when you started. Congrats, you're skinny-fat! Our workouts may only last about 70 minutes, but they're well-rounded and athletic, designed to build a strong, lean physique. So forget about just sweating buckets and obsessing over the scale – our focus is on making you stronger and fitter, not just sweaty.

If you're looking for a gym, make sure to steer clear of two types: those that demonize the barbell and those that worship it like a fitness deity. Here's why.

The truth is, the barbell is an incredibly powerful tool that can help you achieve your fitness goals. From torching fat to sculpting lean, athletic muscle, and improving total body strength, the barbell has it all. It's a true whole-body workout that leaves no muscle group untouched.

But as with any exercise, the barbell has its limitations. It requires a certain level of mobility and technique to perform safely and effectively. And if used improperly, it can even lead to injury.

We use barbells about 80% of the time, but we also incorporate other equipment like plyo boxes, dumbbells, TRX, medicine balls, resistance bands, and cardio machines. This diversity ensures that our workouts are well-rounded and effective for everyone, regardless of their fitness level or experience with the barbell.
